Who We Are
Neighbor to Neighbor operates a “client choice” food pantry, designed to resemble a small grocery store. Clients select their own food from a healthy array of protein, fruits, vegetables, grains, cereals, eggs, and milk. There is often a selection of fresh pastries and seasonal items too. Neighbor to Neighbor aims to provide healthy food that accommodates cultural, religious, personal, and dietary preferences. The Food Pantry accommodates vegetarian and diabetic diets and will do the best to accommodate kosher or gluten-free diets, as requested.
Our Mission
Neighbor to Neighbor improves the lives of residents in need throughout the Greenwich area and strengthens our community by creating access to food, clothing, and basic living essentials in an atmosphere of kindness and respect.

Real Stories

I have been coming to Neighbor to Neighbor since 2015. I lost my job and needed help getting back on my feet. My social worker suggested coming to Neighbor to Neighbor for assistance and the help has been invaluable. I am extremely grateful to be able to shop for food and essentials in a welcoming environment.

I have been a client for 8 months and Neighbor to Neighbor provides me with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. I do not feel rushed when shopping and I like having the option to choose what I need. I appreciate that the volunteers are always polite and the pantry is clean and organized.

Neighbor to Neighbor has given me the strength and the assistance I need to be the best mother I can be for my children. I feel like they are always looking out for me and I know I will always have somewhere to turn when times get tough.
