Be part of something special – volunteer in our Food Pantry, located at The Cohen Center for Neighbor to Neighbor, 248 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers is the driving force behind all we do.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete and submit the appropriate application. Instructions are located at the bottom of this page.
Regular Weekly Volunteers: Volunteers pack hundreds of grocery bags, stock shelves, and participate in food drive pick-ups. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular shift or serve as an occasional “substitute.”
Corporate and Community Groups: Saturdays can be reserved for corporate and community group volunteers. Volunteer shifts are from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. except for holiday weekends when we are closed.
Student Volunteers: Student volunteer hours are Thursdays 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The following procedures are new for this year and apply to all schools in town (public and private). Please keep in mind your sport team schedules as well as Community Service requirements.
Follow the link below to sign-up for student volunteer hours. The available dates for students will be listed on this site with the number of slots available. You must sign up for each shift. There are a limited number of slots available on each day. Walk-ins will not be allowed. Once the slots are full, we will not accept anymore volunteers for that shift.
