Be part of something special – volunteer to help in Neighbor to Neighbor’s Food Pantry, currently located at One Horseneck Lane. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team of over 100 volunteers is the driving force behind all we do.
Regular Weekly Volunteers: Volunteers pack hundreds of grocery bags, stock shelves and participate in food drive pick ups. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular shift or serve as an occasional “substitute.”
Corporate and Community Groups: Every Saturday is reserved for corporate and community group volunteers. Volunteer shifts are from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM except Holiday weekends when we are closed.
Student Volunteer Opportunities: All student volunteers must provide proof of vaccination + a booster. If you are interested in volunteering please complete and submit an application. Student hours are Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:30pm – 5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm.
The following procedures are new for this year and apply to all of the schools in town (public and private.) Please keep in mind your sport team schedules as well as Community Service requirements.
Follow this link to sign up for volunteer hours. The available dates for students will be listed on this web site with the number of slots available. You must sign up for each shift. There are a limited number of slots available on each day. Walk-ins will not be allowed. Once the slots are full, we will not accept anymore volunteers for that shift.
